Hliniště
The Clay Room is located on the first floor and has an internal staircase. It consists of a hallway and two separate bedrooms. In one bedroom there is a double bed, in the other bedroom there are three single beds. There is a possibility of placing a baby cot. The bathroom with shower and toilet is shared. The windows lead to the garden.
The room is named after the historic settlement of Hliništi, a small village now belonging to the town of Strážný. It is located in the valley of the river Řasnice between Horní Vltavice and Strážný. The first written mention of the village dates back to 1735. After the Second World War, the German population was displaced and subsequently, under the communist regime, a heavily guarded border zone passed through the village. Nevertheless, the village of Hliniste did not follow the fate of many other border villages which disappeared as a result of the settlement and the rise of the communist regime. To this day, 21 houses still stand here and almost thirty inhabitants have a permanent address.
